Thursday, August 25th –
Four juvenile Cormorants were released today in-spite of the fact that they were severely emaciated and infested with intestinal parasites when first admitted to the Clinic. Two of them had no detectable blood proteins. This makes their recovery even more remarkable, as recovering from such a degree of debilitation is quite unlikely. The volunteer releasing them is Jermaine Washington, one of our newer clinic recruits.
