Volunteer Highlight: Kathleen

My name is Kathleen Dillon. I am a center volunteer and north county transporter, going on 2+ years. Recently retired from the corporate world, I’ve moved to a little house with my Henry & Junebug; we’re planning a new garden, fig & peach orchard… and hopefully a flight cage for home rehab!
My motto..one step at a time, you can achieve almost anything. Just dream it, and get to work!
Perfect happiness is that moment of a good release when the patient takes off and realizes that he/she is back in their world.
PWC is an amazing group of dedicated people who care so much. I’m lucky, and very happy, to be a part of the family.

Kathleen is AWESOME! She is my inspiration and one of my most important mentors at PWC. If there is a job to be done, Kathleen will be the first one there and the last to leave! And she does it with a smile and an energy that can’t be matched. The Energizer Bunny would have a tough time keeping up with Kathleen! I can’t wait to get back to Morro Bay so I can work with her again!!!
