Wildlife Education
Pacific Wildlife Care strives to educate all, especially children, on how to co-exist with the wildlife.
We go to schools, businesses, and clubs - just about anywhere in the county and conduct wildlife talks.
We have some live educational animals that we bring along on these talks. Hoot is our long-time (over 15 years) educational Great Horned Owl. We also have Polly the opossum, Tyto the barn owl, Ferbie the screech owl, Xena the American kestrel, and Jack our new merlin.
If you would like a wildlife presentation contact Pacific Wildlife Care at the hotline (543-WILD) or EMAIL US .
None of these animals would be safe in the wild due to injury or illness suffered prior to our rehabilitation. But, they can help educate the public about wildlife.
