About Us-How Pacific Wildlife Care
helps Wildlife
Treat and rehabilitate wildlife.
PWC is a place of refuge where injured,
orphaned and pollution-damaged wildlife are expertly cared for,
rehabilitated and returned to the wild. We operate under state and
federal permits.
Maintain a year-round telephone
information line for the public.
PWC's telephone line is open 365 days a
year to respond to public appeals for help with injured wildlife as
well as concerns about problem wildlife.
Work with government and other agencies to
protect wildlife.
PWC is a primary response group for
wildlife in the event of oil spills or other environmental crises.
We provide a specially trained response team that works to reduce
injury and suffering to wildlife impacted by pollution damage.
Teach the public about urban wildlife.
PWC conducts education presentations for
both youth and adult groups, and participates in a variety of
community events.
Train and support a diverse volunteer
group.
PWC maintains an expert team of wildlife
caregivers, transporters and communicators who work to give wildlife
a second chance in the wild.
